Hi Beauties,
Hi my name is Helena and I’m a skincare product junkie! I am very influenced and if someone says that something worked for them then I am trying it. That being said I’ve tried several products and because I have acne prone, oily skin somethings would break me out because they had clog poring ingredients. I did get a prescription from a site called RO for a Tretinoin and Azelaic Acid mixture, but I have left over acne marks that are stubborn. Safe to say I have learned my lesson, and I am very picky on what I add to my skincare regimen.
At the beginning of February, I started looking into Korean skincare and to say the least I am floored by how good it is and inexpensive. I spend so much money on skincare at Sephora and Ulta yearly that I got use to paying $80 for a serum. Compared to Korean skincare I haven’t seen anything that costs over $30. And did I say this stuff is excellent and effective. Below is my list of amazing beginner friendly Korean skincare items that I have already noticed a difference in my skin.
Step 1- Double Cleanse-Cleanser 1
This oil cleanser takes off oil, makeup and clears blackheads. A must have!!!!

Step 5-Toner Pads
Now this is not a necessary step but I am in love with all of the facial toners. I am starting out with these two, but I see me getting more. These pads help reduce blemishes and dark spots. I use every night as masks before I apply the other toners. I leave them on my face for 10 minutes. My skin feels amazing after using these.

Step 5-Toner Pads
I use these toner pads in the morning before other toners as a mask or a toner pad. Great for blemish and spot dark spots, uneven skin tone and dull skin.

Because I have acne prone skin and post hyperpigmentation my main focus for my skincare is to prevent further acne breakouts and to treat and brighten my dark spots. Korean skincare is my new obsession, and it blows my mind how it is so effective and less expensive than other skincare products I use like Murad, Peter Thomas Roth and Sunday Riley.
If you haven’t already definitely give some products a try in Korean skincare that are specifically for your skin type. They have tons of products that are for Combination and Dry skin types also.
